DETERMINETRUTH
Determinetruth offers free resources designed to equip pastors, leaders, and the larger body of Christ in the US and worldwide for service in the kingdom of God. We aim to equip local leaders and churches so that they may serve their communities in accordance with the Gospel of Christ.
This site endeavors to wrestle with Jesus, the Scriptures, the proclamation of the kingdom of God, the call and mission of the Church as bearers of the kingdom, and the challenge of living in the 21st century.
Too often, we think we have it all figured out. I (Rob) know I thought I did. After years of following Christ, I realized I had placed God in a box. It was a nice box. I had made it just for Him, and it had everything He needed. There was only one problem. God doesn’t fit in boxes. We might, but He doesn’t. This was quite a shock for me.
At the same time, it was also quite liberating! I soon learned to become okay with it. God, after all, transcends everything. So why should I expect that He could fit into my box?
Unfortunately, we tend to accept the interpretations of the day, whether social, political, economic, or ethical. We do so, however, often unaware of the assumptions that lie behind our convictions. Yet, we hold to our beliefs—tenaciously, sometimes viciously.
Determinetruth aims to explore questions of truth and theology to determine (hence, the name “determinetruth”) the truth. We are not suggesting that everything we determine here is absolute truth. We are merely trying to constantly wrestle with determining the truth as best we can. Then, by the power of His Spirit, we endeavor to live in accord with it.
Determinetruth also trains and equips pastors throughout the US and India.
Determinetruth offers a regular blog, podcast, and YouTube channel free of charge designed to equip pastors, leaders, and the larger body of Christ for service in the kingdom of God. We also offer free Zoom studies and some mentoring.
So, we ask that you join us as we wrestle with Jesus, the Scriptures, the proclamation of the kingdom of God, the call and mission of the Church as bearers of the kingdom, and the challenge of living in the 21st century.

Our Beliefs
We at Determinetruth adhere to the historic beliefs of the Christian church in accordance with the Protestant tradition:
The Trinity: We believe there is only one God, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are co-equal in power and glory and co-eternal. God is personal and perfect in holiness, wisdom, energy, and love. God alone created all, upholds all, and governs all.
Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers believers for ministry and witness. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and equips them with spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church.
The Bible: We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be God's inspired and authoritative Word.
Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
The Church: We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The Church consists of all believers who have been united to Christ through faith.

ABOUTROB
Rob Dalrymple and his wife Toni have 4 fabulous children, as well as 2 grandchildren! He has been teaching and pastoring for over 34 years at colleges, seminaries, and the local church. Rob has a PhD (Westminster Theological Seminary) in biblical interpretation.
Rob is currently serving as the Executive Director of Determinetruth ministries, which is a 501c3 parachurch ministry whose vision is to challenge the Church to be the Church.
Rob currently teaches as an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University and as an adjunct Professor of NT and Biblical Interpretation at the Flourish Institute of Theology.
Rob has served as a lead pastor, as the Dean and Professor of NT at Koinonia Graduate School of Theology, as a teaching fellow at Westminster Theological Seminary, and as an Adjunct Professor of New Testament and Biblical Greek at Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, Pa. He has also taught and lectured at conferences and seminaries around the world.
Rob's new commentary on the book of Revelation titled: "Revelation: a Love Story" with Cascade Books (2024).
His other books include Follow the Lamb: A Guide to Reading, Understanding, and Applying the Book of Revelation (Weaver Books, 2017), Understanding the New Testament and the End Times: Why it Matters (Wipf and Stock, reprint 2018; previously published as Understanding Eschatology: Why it Matters, 2017), These Brothers of Mine: A Biblical Theology of Land and Family and a Response to Christian Zionism (Wipf and Stock, 2015), and Revelation and the Two Witnesses (Wipf and Stock, 2011). He is also a contributor to the Baker Illustrated Bible Dictionary and author of numerous scholarly articles and reviews.
In addition, Rob is on the board of directors of Evangelicals4Justice and the leadership team at the Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East (NEME). He serves as a co-chair for the program unit “Scripture, Hermeneutics and the Middle" at the Institute for Biblical Research (IBR).
Rob loves to spend time with his wife, Toni, and their four children, three daughters-in-law, and their two grandchildren. He has managed his kids' little league and AAU baseball teams, coaching their youth soccer teams, and in their junior golf. He enjoys reading and studying the Word of God. And, as a native New Englander, he loves cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins, and most anything that comes out of Boston. Rob is also an avid golfer.

ABOUTDANNY
Danny and his wife Ginger have been married for 48 years. They have one son and daughter-in-law and two wonderful granddaughters.
Danny has been in ministry for over 45 years, serving churches in the US and Europe. Danny is a certified Spiritual Director.
Danny has served in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years. He and Ginger also served for 14 years in Vienna, Austria, pastoring, teaching, and developing curricula for pastors and leaders in churches throughout Eastern Europe.
For the last 8 years, Danny has been a consultant helping churches and businesses develop healthy and efficient leadership cultures.
Danny has served on the founding boards of both City Serve Tri-Valley and the Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition. He has also served on the Southern California volunteer team for International Justice Mission.
His passion is to see church leaders operate out of a deep, healthy spiritual life.
He and Ginger enjoy spending time together and with their family. As a native Atlantan, Danny is an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He also enjoys reading, playing Settlers of Catan, skiing, and golfing.

ABOUTVINNIE
Vinnie lives in Oakley, CA with his wife Sheila and their son Matteo.
He earned a Master of Arts (emphasis in Theology and Biblical Studies) from Fuller Theological Seminary and a BS in Psychology-Counseling from William Jessup University.
He has been serving in various local churches for the past 20 years. Vinnie has co-hosted the Determinetruth Podcast with Rob for the past 3 years and is excited to join the ministry to provide a variety of resources, such as online classes and theologically instructive YouTube videos, and help Rob and Danny equip pastors in India who don’t have access to theological education.
Professionally, Vinnie has also worked as a musician since 1996—both as a performer as well as an instructor. He specialized in competitive marching band and drum and bugle corps and served for 20 years as a music adjudicator for high school marching band and percussion competitions. He is currently pursuing a bi-vocational career as a commercial voice-over actor.
He loves riding his Harley-Davidson, BBQing, and watching his Oakland sports teams break his heart.
